Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight is expected to miss the 2017-18 season with a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced on Tuesday.
Knight, who will undergo surgery to repair the ligament, sustained the injury last week in Florida.

A timetable for his return will be determined at a later date, the team announced. Knight played 54 games last season and just 52 games the season before that. He was acquired by the Suns in February of 2015.
Knight averaged 11.0 points and 2.4 assists per game last season with the Suns, his third team since entering the league in 2011.
