Fatherhood was not a new experience for Kennedy Zarour, who already had five daughters when his wife Natalie became pregnant with his sixth, and their fourth, child.

But a son was a first, and a surprise, for the 53-year-old Waldwick resident.

While his wife was having a C-section March 8 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Westwood, she was also shooting video of Zarour, who was just a little excited about the latest addition to their family, TODAY.com reported.

“Oh my God, I love it! Yeah baby! I got a boy!” he’s heard yelling on the video.

“I was just waiting for them to tell me it was a girl, and they told me it was a boy, and I guess my reaction was a little insane,” Zarour told TODAY. The couple named the boy Gerard.

Two of Zarour’s daughters, Ariana and Colette, 20, were from a previous marriage, and he and Natalie Zarour have three daughters, Mia, 5, Jolie, 3, and Giselle, 1.
